Hatha yoga
by Kateryna Aleshchenko
I invite you to join my weekly yoga class — taught in English — right here in Wrocław.
Hi! I’m Kateryna Aleshchenko, a certified yoga teacher with over five years of experience leading both group and private sessions. My teaching focuses on supporting both your physical and mental well-being — even within a single session. My own yoga journey started with confusion („Breathe into your belly” — how does that work?). At the time, I was a Master of Sports in aero-step, and it frustrated me that the quiet people on the mats next to me could do headstands while I couldn’t even lift my legs. But something in yoga kept calling me back. Through teacher trainings, retreats, countless workshops, and asking endless questions, my understanding grew — and so did my love for teaching. For me, yoga is both a pair of wings in joyful times and a lifeline in challenging ones. I believe it can be that for you too.
While I’m still learning Polish, my native language is Ukrainian — so I choose to teach in English.
And as I’ve already noticed, many people in Wrocław feel at ease speaking English — or are on their way there. So, I warmly invite you to join me on the mat — to move, breathe, and connect.
What to expect: Each class lasts 90 minutes and includes breathing techniques, a flow of asanas (postures), and deep relaxation at the end. Classes are friendly and welcoming — suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners. I always offer modifications so you can adapt the practice to your own needs.
You’re very welcome — just as you are.
